Tai’an
Tai’an, Shandong Province (tie-AN)

Shandong Province’s Tai’an City is probably best known as the gateway to the holy mountain of Taishan. Thousands of Tai’an’s 3.9 million residents are employed by the tourist industry, as masses of Chinese and foreign tourists converge on Taishan every year. Dozens of Daoist, Buddhist, and Confucian statues and structures dot the Taishan landscape, and the mountain has been the inspiration behind many Chinese myths and legends. Christian workers in Tai’an have historically been met with opposition from religious leaders, angry at the Christian’s intrusion into the area surrounding the holy mountain.
Please pray that the One True God will reveal Himself to the people of Tai’an, resulting in a great harvest in this city.
