From the HeartAs he prepared to speak to a Chinese church in the U.S., the China worker was brought face to face with some major insecurities. Not only was he was concerned that his Chinese language ability was inadequate, but he didn’t know how to preach! Then his wife reminded him to just do what he would do in China. So as he stood before the congregation, he simply poured out his heart, sharing some of what he had seen God do among the people where he served. At the end of the service, he was thrilled to see two Chinese grandmothers walk hand-in-hand down the aisle to receive Jesus into their hearts.

Turning GreenHis passion is mobilizing and training Chinese believers to reach their own people for Christ. Last fall he watched with excitement as his Chinese brothers and sisters prayerfully placed red dots all over a map of their city, marking strategic locations where they hoped to see new congregations born. Now just a few months later, two of the red dots have already been replaced with green dots in places where churches have been planted. He is looking forward to seeing the entire map turn green before his eyes.
